Which Penis Pump is the first shopping comparison site of its kind – a site dedicated entirely to the review and pricing analysis of vacuum constriction devices (VCDs) or, as they are more commonly known, penis pumps.
We’re all aware of the likes of Google Shopping, PriceGrabber, and CamelCamelCamel however the variety of penis pumps and accuracy of product information on these types of sites is ultimately underwhelming. These types of site also provide consumers with a very poor level of choice where pricing is concerned, given the restrictive number of ecommerce stores that choose to advertise through these platforms.
The Penis Pump Industry

Insertable Length & Girth
This is one of the most important factors when purchasing a penis pump. Purchase a device that is too small and it either won’t fit, or won’t provide you with ample room to grow. During a pumping session because of the vacuum of pressure drawing more blood into the penis, the size of your aroused member will be a little larger and with long-term use, lead to further gains in both length and girth.
Length gains are generally easier and faster to achieve than girth gains, so we’d always recommend choosing a penis pump that has a cylinder that offers at least 2-3 inches more length than your current aroused measurements.
Girth gains take longer to achieve however ensuring a correct measurement is again quite critical. A lot of men understandably get confused by the girth or circumference measurements as a lot of pumps state the size of the cylinder based on diameter. We’ve highlighted the importance of choosing a penis pump with a cylinder of a large enough size, however, be careful not to go to the extreme. Don’t opt for a cylinder that is way bigger than your current size as the larger the cylinder, the heavier the device will become – this is a critical element to bare in mind, especially if you decide to purchase a water, or hydro penis pump given water is considerably heavier than air.
Price
For many men, the price of a pump is understandably a key consideration. You can purchase a cheap, novelty pump that cost $10-$20 however at this price, the quality and durability is generally very poor lacking. Don’t be surprised if the device breaks within a few uses, or if you can’t get a decent level of suction or comfort.
Electric pumps tend to be more expensive (especially those with automated pumping routines and a digital display), whilst medical-grade vacuum constriction devices are built to last and have been rigorously tested by the likes of the FDA, hence they attract a price tag that is north of $300.

Rating
Our Rating filter allows the ability to view pumps of a specific star rating. The ratings are currently determined based on my own personal knowledge and expertise of the associated materials and features of each individual pump.
Notably, all products displayed on the main page and within the individual Brand and Seller pages, are ordered from highest to lowest star ratings, however, you can adjust the ordering based on other metrics such as price.
Product Type
The Product Type filter allows you to filter product results by Complete Product (the default setting), Cylinder, and Pump.
The Complete option provides you with a product that can be used straight out of the box. They don’t require the purchase of additional accessories however you may find with routine, regular use that you want to upgrade and (for example) purchase a better pump sleeve.
The latter two options are best for those looking to build a customized penis pump or for those wanting a pumping system where interchangeable cylinders can be used (the best option for serious penis pump users).
The Cylinder option will only show individual cylinders, whilst the Pump option will only show hand ball pumps, trigger pumps and electric pump options.
Pressure Creation
Creating pressure in the pump cylinder can be achieved either manually – using a handball, trigger, or pistol grip mechanism – or via a battery-powered, electric motor. There are pros and cons to both approaches, so it really does depend on your personal preference and budget.
Pressure Medium
As highlighted above, the creation of pressure in a cylinder can be generated manually by hand, or using an electric pump. The Pressure Medium filter allows you to view that use air, water, or both.
Penis pumps that use air tend to be lighter but often made of cheaper materials, whilst water pumps provide much better support and have been shown to achieve long-term results faster.
Water penis pumps (also known as hydro pumps) tend to be considerably more expensive than their air-only counterparts due to the need for better quality, more durable materials.
Cylinder Color
This filter allows you to specify a preferred color for the pump cylinder. A clear cylinder is generally the most popular and is equally, our recommendation given if the device you choose has a measurement scale on the side, alternate cylinder colors tend to make this difficult or hard to read. You’ll also generally find you have a better selection of VCDs to choose from if you go with the clear cylinder option.
Brand
Our Brand filter allows the ability to see only products by a specific Brand or manufacturer. Collection
In some instances, a Brand (as detailed above) has a wide selection of penis pumps which are then grouped together into a Collection. For example, CalExotics have an Admiral, Apollo and Basic Essentials range, to name just a few.
Seller
